Yes — once your tax return is filed, Revenue automatically applies RCT credits against:

  • Income Tax or Corporation Tax
  • Preliminary Tax
  • PAYE (if you’re an employer)
  • VAT
  • Any other liabilities

Remaining RCT credits can be refunded or carried forward.
